About GEMFOREX MT5 (MetaTrader 5) For iPhone

Search "MetaTrader 5" on the application store of your smartphone and download. Specify "GemTrade-Live" on the server search screen, and then you can enter login information (account number etc.) we introduced from our company. When search do not work out, please try restarting the application, restart the smartphone, clearing the cache, reinstalling the application etc. You cannot open a demo account from the smart MT5 application, so please open a demo account from here.

Use Procedure, Manual

MT5 Installation Instructions
  1. Please search for "MetaTrader5" (MT5) in the AppStore, and tap the "Get" button of "MetaTrader5" to download the application.

  2. Stay within the AppStore, and when the "Install" button changes to "Open", the download is complete.

    * Or once you see the "MetaTrader5" icon on the screen, the download is complete.

How to log in
  1. Tap the icon of "MetaTrader5" on the screen, and start MT5.

  2. Once launched, tap "Settings" in the bottom menu, and select "New Account" from the menu.

    *If you are using an iPad, tap "Accounts" in the menu at the bottom, and then select "+" in the upper left corner of the screen.

  3. You will be prompted to select a broker. Please search for a broker.

    Search for "GemTrade" and select "GemTrade Co., Ltd.".

  4. Select "Log in to Existing Account" and log in.

    *Please check necessary information regarding login and password via "My Account" or the email you received when you opened your account.
    *If you have not yet opened a trading account, please do so before proceeding.
    Please select and enter all items to log in.

    *Please select "GemTradeCo-Live" as the server.

  5. 5) If you can see your registered name and account ID on the "Settings" page, your login is complete.

To display the chart
  1. Select the currency pair you wish to display on the "Quote" page in the application.

  2. Select "Chart" from the menu that appears.

    *In the case of an iPad, the chart will be displayed when you select a currency pair.

  3. The chart will appear. When the currency pair you have selected is displayed in the upper left corner, the display is complete.

How to place and settle orders

How to place an order

  1. Select the currency pair you wish to place an order for on the "Quote" page in the application.

  2. Select "Trade" from the menu that appears.

  3. You will proceed to the page for placing a new order. Please choose the order method and enter the number of lots corresponding to the position you wish to hold.

    *Regarding the order quantity (number of lots ordered)
    ◆0.01LOT = 1,000 currency ◆0.10LOT = 10,000 currency ◆1.00LOT = 100,000 currency
    Maximum and minimum order limits vary by FX broker.

    You can select either FOK (Full Order Execution or Full Order Cancellation) or IOC (Order to cancel open positions at partial order execution). In general, please select FOK.

  4. After confirming the price, tap the “BUY” button to hold the buy position, or the “SELL” button to hold the sell position.

  5. When the message "Completed" is displayed, your order is complete.

Settlement Method

  1. Click on the "Trade" button, and you will see your current positions.

  2. Select the position you wish to close from the positions you hold.

    A menu will appear.
    Select "Close Position" from the list.

  3. Confirm the status of the position, and tap the " Close position" button.

  4. When the message "Completed" is displayed, the settlement is complete.
